Geonext

Geonext, dynamic geometry freeware

Developped by the didactics and mathematics department at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) (http://geonext.uni-bayreuth.de),Geonext is a dynamic geometry freeware program, a powerful tool for making geometric constructions.
Geonext proposes a sheet of interactive drawing paper and a multitude of construction tools. Unlike drawings on paper, the constructions can be changed at a later time and dynamically modified.

Geonext in ITgeometry

Each and every lesson and exercise in ITgeometry integrates selected tools and a Geonext worksheet that allows users to :
   - construct geometric objects (with known properties),
   - displace, and observe the objects of a figure in order to hypothesize a result (make hypotheses, then do a demonstration),
   - correct your constructions step by step.
